iss INTRODUCES THE WORLD'S SMALLEST PROXIMITY READER FOR LINKDOTNET

ISS was awarded the project of supplying and installing a Proximity Card System for Linkdotnet. After the merger of Intouch and Link Egypt, the company expanded its headquarters to have five stories of managerial and data center activities at the Dokki location. The main concern for the Linkdotnet officials was the high level of security that the system would provide as well as having the readers of low profile and aesthetic appearance.

The Info Prox with its small size and aesthetic appearance stood as the most appropriate reader in the market providing all the sophisticated features of any card reader of pin code keypad and LCD display integrated into an incredibly small enclosure sizing only 8.6cm(h)x8.6cm(w)x2.2cm(d) and using RS485 communication to provide easy two wire installations over long distances. The built in software programmable inputs and outputs along with the verification LED's and LCD display provided the knock down in comparison between the Info Prox and the existing card reader systems in the market. The client realized that with using Info Prox readers, the wiring would be minimum as well as all the control functions and security measures will be taken. Using a built in HID proximity head, the reader provide hands-free card punching.
